What does ProTech Product mean?

ProTech Products are Ex-display, Pre-owned and Refurbished products that undergo ProTech's strict testing process prior to being offered for sale. Each ProTech Product:

- Undergoes full functionality testing and any defective modules identified in testing are replaced.

- Is put through a thorough cleaning process and inspection.

- Is repackaged in plain packaging.

- Includes either the Operating System originally shipped with the unit

- Is placed into a Final QA inspection prior to being added to sell-able stock.

What should I expect when i purchase a ProTech Certified refurbished product?

Can I upgrade the Hard Drive, Memory(RAM) or Operating System before I buy?

Yes Of course you can! We recommend contacting our friendly staff for any queries.

What condition are the items in and can i see the Photos?

We can send individual photos of any product. All products go through a comprehensive testing program, to avoid any customer dissatisfaction ProTech uses a comprehensive condition report on our site to identify the cosmetic condition of our refurbished products, the products are then boxed to be sold.

Can I trade in my old Notebook / Tablet?

YES, it only takes a few minutes to trade your old technology, simply fill in our Trade-In form and one of experts will get back to you with an estimated quote.

Can I buy or sell in bulk with ProTech?

ProTech does arrange bulk sales as well as bulk purchasing, we have a dedicated department for such transactions, however they require a set of information before they can determine how we can best serve your needs.

What should I expect when i purchase a ProTech Certified refurbished product?

How much warranty do i have ?

Your ProTech product comes with a 6 Months warranty.

How do i make a warranty claim within 6 Months?

Making a warranty claim is simple. You can register your claim online at Hello@Protechintl.com.au.
Please provide the following information :

- Your Name & Number :

- Original ProTech receipt number :

- Product Fault / Issue

- If the fault cannot be rectified over the phone, we will need you to send the product to us for repair or replacement.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time then we will replace the item.

Can you repair Notebooks outside of warranty period?

Yes, of course we can. We are also one of the leading Notebook device repairers for Laptops, Desktop’s, PCs and phones. You can bring your device in-store, post it in or have the option of our staff come to YOU! We only have a $50 Quotation / Diagnostic fee which we only charge if you decide not to go ahead with the repair after quotation. If you decide to go ahead with the quotation, then we do not charge any fee.

What faults are not covered ?

Your 180 day and ProTech Care + One Year warranty cover does not cover any faults caused by physical damage, product misuse or using the product outside the manufacturer’s guidelines. Also, it does not cover products that have incurred a fault due to electrical surges and software issues.
