1 Year Warranty

Every device sold by ProTech IT Solutions is backed by our comprehensive 1 Year Warranty, giving you complete peace of mind with your purchase.

Effective from 1st June 12-Month hardware warranty on refurbished products.
Orders placed before 1st June 2026 remain covered under the original 6-Month Warranty

What's Covered

  • Hardware defects and component failures under normal use
  • Screen defects not caused by physical impact or user damage
  • Charging port and connection failures due to manufacturing faults
  • Internal component malfunctions (motherboard, RAM, storage)
  • Keyboard and trackpad failures under normal use
  • Software issues directly related to a confirmed hardware defect

What's Not Covered

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Water and liquid damage - any damage caused by exposure to moisture, liquids, or submersion
  • Physical damage - cracked or broken screens, dents, bent frames, or damage from drops and impacts
  • Accidental damage - resulting from misuse, negligence, or accidents
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications - devices opened or altered by non-authorised parties
  • Cosmetic wear - scratches, scuffs, or general wear and tear from normal use
  • Software and virus issues - corrupted operating systems, malware, or damage caused by third-party software
  • Consumable accessories - cables, chargers, cases, and styluses (unless faulty on arrival)
  • Theft or loss - missing devices are not covered
  • Natural disaster damage - fire, flood, lightning strikes, or other external events
  • Devices with tampered or removed serial numbers

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact our support team via email at hello@protechintl.com.au
  2. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable
  3. Our team will assess your claim and advise on next steps - we may request the device be returned for inspection
  4. If the claim is approved, we will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion
  5. Claims are typically processed within 5–10 business days

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Warranty coverage applies from the date of purchase and is non-transferable.
